wave to move it move it

after a long time touring the region i finally have the chance to go to the one of the most holy places in cebu, simala. simala is very famous of its miraculous virgin that every year people just flood the place to pray for a miracle. though i have no evidence that these miracles happened but i love to watch these believers spend some time to thank and ask to their GOD. in a world that most would catch up time, its really out of the ordinary that they are here praying. like there is nothing in the world maters at this moment. they do spend at least a year for this. and the first hand experience did somehow proves that most Filipinos are deeply religious. this picture reminds me of the black Nazarene and the sto. nino acts. its like they have a particular steps (dance) for the whole thing. waving of a white handkerchief or towel. September 8 is when they wave to move it... move it!

i went outside just to look around and found this. it's been a long time since the last time i went out to take a shot with everything around me.

what now?!

it has been days now after posting something here that i feel like i stuck in the middle of everything. i mean i think that there are a lot of things that needs to be photographed than just my little angel. ok i really got exited to see her that i just want to take all of her photographs. i do look like a stalker (lol) with my little kiddo. i want to take ever move she made. just like what had happened last week that she finally have her first tooth. i was like going crazy taking her pictures (of her tooth)!
right now i don't know if i will stop taking her pics. i was even planning to have a photo a day for her for the next five years. (yeah! it's not like i don't take a picture of her every hour.)

so for about months i was away for my sabbatical i will post my new works. i hope that you guys will enjoy it. i hope that you will wait for it. i will see you soon guys!

SoFoBoMo: doing my own book

yes i am doing it! challenge has become my name and i will do my best this time. i know that most people would think that it's a waste of time in my part then again i have heard that a million times. don't care!
i am doing an ebook for the first time. i think that laying out the book won't be a problem on my side but the choosing of the right pictures will be. i always love graphics design and i think that it can be great to add it to my books. my first book would be "window to my world" which is totally about windows of any kind. i just hope that people would want to see it.

it's independence day and i have made somthing to celebrate it with all the filipinos out there.

butterfly day

i was walking when i pass a by plant blooming with flowers. then i saw these butterflies flying around the flower so i grab the opportunity to capture them. i hope that i could cath the bees but i was afraid that i might be stung. so i just go home with the butterflies in my hands.

it is quite diffeicult to capture this tiny devils...

a day with cemetery

after i recover i went together with my brother and aunt a the cemetery where my grand parents were buried. i must say that i has alot of things in there to photograph. well to those who believe in ghost. i didn't capture one but i did capture something that you don't think that you will see in these places. most of us might think that it a place that is sad or very silent. so might think it's creepy but then again it's all up to you now.

i'm back and well

for the past few day i catch a cold so i was unable to do the usual things i do. first i need to stay at home before i scare people to death. there are a lot of cases of influenza A(H1N1) has been reported and i just don't want people to panic. we do have three confirmed cases. though i don't have it i just want things to be safe though it's just an ordinary cold.

now i am active again and start taking photographs. these are my new photos, well it's really the latest i have.
